MURRABIT
Somewhere in the world there’s a country called Australia, and in Australia, in Victoria, there’s a little town. We ride our bikes, and catch some fish, swim in the Murray. It don’t get better than this.
It’s in my heart, this little town; this little town called Murrabit. I live my life as a kid in Murrabit: there’s always something cool to see. There’s lots of things to do in Murrabit. It’s the only place I want to be.
Nah-nah, Nah-nah, Nah-nah. Murrabit.
In this little town we’ve got a HUGE market, first Saturday of every month – it really is a blast. Drink lots of coke down at the Tavern. Don’t be a fool – come to our school: get country learnin’ in ya.
It’s in our hearts, this little town; this little town called Murrabit. If you were in a spaceship we might be hard to see, a tiny dot upon the map; but we’re the place to be. Although we’re small we’ve got it all: I think you will agree that Murrabit’s the best bit of the mighty Murray.
