LOTE (Italian) and Music at Murrabit Group School are taught by Mrs. Angie Jones, who delivers vibrant and engaging lessons that immerse students in both language and culture. In Italian, students learn to speak, read, and write in the language through interactive activities such as games, songs, role-plays, and cultural projects. They also explore Italian traditions, food, geography, and celebrations, helping them develop a deeper appreciation for another culture while building valuable communication skills.
Alongside Italian, Mrs. Jones delivers an outstanding Music program that provides students with a variety of opportunities to explore and enjoy music. Children are encouraged to sing, experiment with different instruments, and develop their understanding of rhythm, melody, and musical expression. The program includes learning about musical notation, performance, and creativity through composition. Students have access to a wide range of musical tools and experiences, fostering both confidence and a love for music. Performances and presentations also give students the chance to showcase their talents to the school community, building pride and achievement in their musical journey.
